St. Francois County MO Jail Visitation

There are visitation rules in place at St. Francois County Jail. Visitation days are only on Saturdays and Sundays, and each inmate has a one-hour visit privilege.

Visitation Hours for Males

  • 9:00 a.m.
  • 10:00 a.m.
  • 1:00 p.m.
  • 6:00 p.m.
  • 7:00 p.m.

Visitation Hours for Females

  • 2:00 p.m.
  • 3:00 p.m.

All visitors must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled visitation. Visitations start on the hour. If you arrive late, time will be deducted from the visit, and the jail staff could refuse your visit.

Inmates at the St. Francois County Jail are only allowed one weekend visit with up to four visitors. Once visitors leave the visitation room, the visit is considered terminated, and the visitor cannot re-enter the visitation room.

Do’s & Don’ts of Inmate Visitations

Do:

  • Show respect for staff members and other visitors by being courteous, following the rules, and not being overly loud.
  • Check in early so staff members can prepare the inmate for the visitation.
  • Realize you may have to wait on busy days or be turned away if there are too many visitors.
  • Present a valid photo ID upon arrival.
  • Minors under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Remember that visitation is a privilege and not a right.

Don’t:

  • Do not bring any tobacco products or smoke in the visitation rooms.
  • Do not bring handbags, purses, or carry objects into the visitation rooms.
  • Visitors must not exchange property with inmates.
  • Visitors should not argue with staff members.

Violating the rules of visitation could result in your visiting privileges being terminated. You could also face criminal charges, depending on the violation.
