Visitation at St. Francois County Jail

There are visitation rules in place at St. Francois County Jail. Visitation days are only on Saturdays and Sundays, and each inmate has a one-hour visit privilege.

Inmates at the St. Francois County Jail are only allowed one weekend visit with up to four visitors. Once visitors leave the visitation room, the visit is considered terminated, and the visitor cannot re-enter the visitation room.

• Do not bring handbags, purses, or carry objects into the visitation rooms. 
• Visitors must not exchange property with inmates.
• Visitors should not argue with staff members. 

Violating the rules of visitation could result in your visiting privileges being terminated. You could also face criminal charges, depending on the violation.

Jail Ministry

The St. Francois County Jail offers a ministry program to inmates who choose to participate. Reaching Inmates for Jesus Christ is an outreach program that New Life Fellowship provides at Southern Baptist Church in Farmington, MO. 

Services are held each Thursday and are overseen by an ordained Southern Baptist minister. Once a month, inmates may participate in a special singing program that is performed by volunteers from the community. 

Commissary Services

Inmates have access to purchase items through the commissary. Some of the purchasable items include:

• Playing cards
• Art supplies

If an inmate does not have enough funds in their account to cover personal hygiene items, these will be provided to them. Anyone can contribute to an inmate’s commissary fund as long as there is no no-contact order in place.
