Oklahoma County OK Jail Visitation

While in-person visitations are allowed at the Oklahoma County Jail, there are rules and regulations that must be followed by all inmates and visitors. Consider the following guidelines.

  • Visitors may bring one child under the age of 18, but they must be supervised at all times. 
  • You can only sign up for a visit for yourself. 
  • Do not bring food and drinks to the visitation room. 
  • Do not use profanity during visits. 
  • Do not harass the staff or inmates.

Do NOT bring these contraband items to a visitation! Leave them in your car. 

  • Lip gloss, lipstick, or makeup
  • Tobacco products, including vapes, lighters, and matches
  • Purses, bags, and backpacks
  • Weapons of any kind, including knives and guns
  • Fingernail or toenail files or clippers
  • Tools of any kind
  • Papers
  • Alcohol or drugs

 

Oklahoma County Jail Visitation Dress Code

The Oklahoma County Jail imposes a strict dress code. Failure to adhere to the dress code rules will result in a denial or termination of the visitation and possible loss of privileges. 

  • All visitors must adhere to good grooming and hygiene habits.
  • Appropriate undergarments must be worn, including brassieres. 
  • Shoes must be worn at all times by visitors, including any children.
  • Do not wear see-through shirts, blouses, or other clothing items.
  • Do not wear tight clothing, including exercise wear. 
  • Shirts should not expose any part of the chest area, including cleavage or any undergarments.
  • Do not wear gloves, jackets, raincoats, or hoodies.
  • Hats and caps should not be worn except for religious purposes.
  • Do not wear tube tops, strapless tops, midriff-baring shirts, halter tops, or tank tops.
  • Do not wear pajamas.
  • Do not wear undergarments as clothing.
  • Do not wear clothing that features logos, images, or wording with derogatory or offensive ethnic, sexual, gender, political, or religious tones. 
  • Do not wear gang colors or signs. 
  • Do not wear clothing with advertisements for drugs, alcohol, or illegal activity.
  • Dresses, shirts, and shorts should be no shorter than three inches above the knees when sitting, including skirts or dresses with slits.
